1. Results of the ELE project

The ELE project has generated a lot of information about the digital situation for more than 80 European languages. The main results of the project and site navigation to extract relevant information will be presented.

2. Statement on digital tools and media

A draft statement backing languages that are not supported by multinational IT and media companies is being prepared. The statement will be sent to the European Commission and the European Parliament. EFNIL needs members’ acceptance of the content of the statement and if possible more problem cases to illustrate our points. 

3. New practice for newsletters

Until now, newsletters from members have been sent around to all members for information. In the future, members will be notified about the arrival of a newsletter and provided with a link to our website where the newsletter can be seen and downloaded.. 

4. Upcoming election for the EC of EFNIL

We would like to draw our members’ attention to the upcoming election of a new EC at the next general assembly. Members will be informed about the general procedure and the call for candidates.
